College football, priced like a stock market.
All 138 FBS teams trade like stocks. Beat expectations on Saturday and your price climbs. Fall short and it slides. Lose as the favorite and it really slides.
Which conference is winning the season
Conferences trade as sectors. Each index is the average price of its teams, measured from the preseason open.

How prices move
Open
Every team starts the season at a price set by its preseason rating. An average team opens near 100, a contender near 150.
Expect
Before kickoff the model sets the bar: how much a team should win or lose by, based on the rating gap and who is at home.
Move
After the game, the gap between the bar and the result moves the price. A normal week is about 3%. Losing as the favorite costs extra. We call that MISSED GUIDANCE.
